Dr. Gaurav Shah was born and raised in New Jersey. He obtained his Bachelors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ after 3 years. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ and received his DMD degree. While studying in Dental School, Dr. Shah spent part of his free time researching and staying up to date with the most current topics in dentistry. His research has earned him multiple honors and awards such as: a seat as an Oral Session Chair Presenter at the International Association for Dental Research in San Francisco, CA; the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Certificate for Excellence in Research; and the New York Academy of Dentistry’s Summer Research Grant. Following graduation, Dr. Shah decided on continuing his formal training and hone his skills by pursuing a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. He enjoys providing comprehensive treatment to all his patients with a cool, calm, and collected demeanor. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time in nature, staying fit, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
