Dr. Gaurav Shah was born & raised in New Jersey. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in cell biology & neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick after three years. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
While studying in Dental School, Dr. Shah spent part of his free time researching & staying up to date with the most current topics in dentistry. His research has earned him multiple honors & awards such as: a seat as an oral session chair presenter at the International Association for Dental Research in San Francisco; the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Certificate for Excellence in Research; & the New York Academy of Dentistry’s Summer Research Grant. Following graduation, Dr. Shah continued his formal training & honed his skills by pursuing a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. He enjoys providing comprehensive treatment to all his patients with a cool, calm & collected demeanor.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time in nature, staying fit, reading & spending time with family & friends.
