Alan Raskas, DDS graduated a Founders Day Scholar from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1968. He then served two years as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps.
Alan began his dental career in New Brunswick, NJ, as an associate with Dr. David Schwartz, a Prosthodontist, from 1970-1972. He then started his own private general practice in Cherry Hill, NJ, in 1972, and is going on 40 years.
In addition to operating his practice, Alan was an instructor in the Fixed Prosthodontics Department of the Temple University Dental School from 1981-1983.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Southern Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982.
Alan has served in an expanded capacity with several organizations over the years. He was past President of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter of the Alpha Omega Fraternity; past President of the Cam-Bur Dental Study Club; and past Chairman of the Public Relations Communication Committee of the Southern Dental Society.
Dr. Raskas is also proud to be the grandfather of 5 wonderful grandchildren.
